Grown Up Pigs in a Blanket
1 sheet frozen puff pastry, thawed in refrigerator
3 tbsp dijon mustard
1 package kielbasa or similar sausage
1 egg, beaten
Preheat oven to 425°F. Lightly grease or spray sheet pan with nonstick spray.
Unfold one sheet puff pastry and gently roll out to smooth creases. Cut in half.
Spread 3 tbsp dijon mustard all over each half, leaving 1 inch border along one end.
Cut kielbasa in half and place one half on each half of the puff pastry.
Roll pastry around the sausage and pinch together where you left the 1 inch border. Repeat with second half.
Place seam side down on cutting board. Cut into 1/2 - 1 inch slices and place 1 inch apart on the sheet pan.
Brush pastry with beaten egg.
Bake 10-15 minutes or until puff pastry is golden brown.
Serve with dijon or spicy mustard. Can be served warm from the oven or at room temperature.
