Simple Spaghetti with Meat Sauce + Fried Spaghetti

1 pound of ground beef (or turkey, or chicken, or italian sausage)

1-2 jars of spaghetti sauce of your choice

Pasta noodles of your choice

  1. Cook the ground beef. Break the meat up with a wooden spoon as it browns.

  2. Season the meat with salt, pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, Italian seasoning to taste (you can also skip this step).

  3. Add spaghetti sauce and heat through.

  4. Cook pasta according to package instructions.

  5. Combine pasta and sauce or let everyone serve themselves.

Note: You can sauté onions and garlic with the meat for additional flavor.

Fried Spaghetti

Bonus recipe using leftovers: This is our family’s favorite way to eat leftover spaghetti. It concentrates the sauce and completely changes the dish.

Italian Seasoning

  1. Heat a large drizzle of olive oil in a saucepan over medium heat.

  2. Add leftover Simple Spaghetti with Meat Sauce and sauté until heated through.

  3. Add a large pinch of Italian seasoning and a few shakes of garlic powder.
