Tips for Getting Ahead
Saturday:
Print out all the recipes for the week.
Click on the link provided and add all the groceries to your cart.
Look through the meal plan table at the ingredients provided in the cart and the presumed ingredients. If you do not have a pantry item, make sure to add it to your cart.
Add any other groceries to your online cart that you need for the week (cereal, bread, milk, etc).
Schedule a time to pick up your groceries or have them delivered.
Read through the recipes and the “Tips for Getting Ahead” to prepare for the week.
Sunday:
Cut up all the salad ingredients for Tuesday’s dinner. Keep ingredients in separate baggies until ready to throw salad together on Tuesday.
Cut vegetables for Wednesday's dinner and store in a container. Notice that we will be making a double batch so we can eat this on Wednesday and Friday night.
If desired, portion out your hamburger patties for tomorrow’s dinner. Notice you will be making 8 hamburgers instead of just 4 so you can use the leftovers for soup later in the week.
Wednesday:
Make a double batch of tonight’s dinner and save half for Friday’s dinner. Chinese always makes great leftovers!
